Paper Dolls
Does a photograph protect you in death? Is it proof of existence? Paper Dolls are images of women who have died, scissored from the fraction of a second preserved of the life that they lived in order to contemplate the way we conflate photography with memory.
My intention is for these photographs to have limited perceptiblity. The photographs are analog prints. On some monitors they may appear completely black or overly bright.
